Reminders

Book Fair - October 14-18, Family Night October 16 (6-8pm)

Our book fair is HERE!

Here are a few things to know:

  1. Plan: Students received a paper flyer last week to highlight our book fair offerings. Check out what's available

  2. Payment: Register for your e-wallet to allow your student to shop cash free by clicking here. While we strongly encourage the use of the e-wallet, cash will also be accepted (please send in a marked envelope).

  3. Volunteer: Parents, we need your help! Please consider volunteering by clicking here. We are also looking for 5th Graders to help with Family Night. If your 5th Grader is interested, please sign them up by clicking here.

  4. Shop: Edgewood students will be given the opportunity to shop the fair during their library time this week or families can shop together during Family Night in the evening of October 16 from 6-8pm.

ALL FOR BOOKS MEANS BOOKS FOR ALL!

This year, Edgewood will once again be participating in the All for Books program. This program asks students to bring loose change that will be collected in their clasrroms. These donations help purchase books for our school AND Scholastic matches these monetary donations with a donation to the Scholastic Possible Fund which distributes books to children in need.

The classroom that collects the most money will be eligible to select $25 in books from the book fair for their classroom.

In addition, we will be hosting our annual coin drive competition the week of our book fair. Students can bring in loose change and the winning classroom will receive a prize. Donations help support our library.

Trunk or Treat!

Join us on Friday, October 25th at 6pm for tricks, treats and spooky sweets!  We will have faBOOlous games and prizes along with decorated trunks! Please bring your own trick or treat bag.  There is a sensory friendly walk-through time at 5:30pm.

RSVP and Sign-Up! Click here to sign-up to sign up to donate a bag of candy, volunteer (your time and/or your trunk) and RSVP for the event.  Please review the available slots and enter your party quantity so we can gauge numbers for event needs.

Don't Forget: EATS for TREATS at Trunk or Treat!

We will be collecting non-perishable goods to at Trunk or Treat (and leading up to it) to benefit the Manor Elementary Community Food Pantry.
