Congratulations, Cast and Crew of The Lion King, Jr!
and Special Thank You!
What an incredible event! We are so proud of our super talented kiddos in their production of The Lion King, Jr.! We are also so grateful for the support of our Edgewood families who came to view the production.
We would like to acknowledge that incredible hard work of our parents who helped bring this show to life - especially the efforts of Kadrean Mora and Geneva Stein. We would also like to thank our many other community members who pitched in to support the production and make its a success - especially Lauren Welch (and her mom, Dee!), Jenny Chase, Sarah Bolton, Allison Camp, Jillian Dodge, Shannon Kasprzyk, Michelle Wexler, Yolanda Tafuri, Rachel Ecker, Monica Ramirez, Jonnie Shackman, Tanya Richter, Mrs. Schlosberg, our wonderful custodial staff, especially Brian and Jess, our front office support staff, Erin Maguire and Sheryl Straub, and our fearless leader, Mrs. Hultquist!
We are so grateful for your incredible work in making this experience special for our kids and school community.
A Note to the Cast and Crew, from Ms. Kadrean
Dear Cast and Crew,
I'll try to keep this brief because you all know how much I can go on and on with life lessons. As we come to the conclusion of this amazingly magical journey together, I want to remind you of our first rehearsal. That day, before parts were assigned, we all looked around and took a moment to realize we were building a new theatre family. We were there to support each other, encourage each other, and most importantly, celebrate each other. The time has come to do so much celebrating! You kids really accomplished something spectacular! I couldn't be prouder of each and every one of your efforts.
I wish for many more shows in all of your futures.

Teacher Appreciation Week - Week of May 6
We have something SPA-tacular planned for the Edgewood Teachers and Staff, but we need your help to make it great! We are looking for volunteers, as well as donations, to celebrate our teachers and staff all week long. We are excited to announce that all volunteers will be entered into our Volunteer Appreciation Raffle! The winner will be eligible for a special class treat for their child/children's classroom.

Update on Edgewood Cafe
We are excited to announce that our tables for Edgewood Cafe have been delivered and are being built by our wonderful custodian, Brian, and other district personnel! Our land crew will be setting a date soon and we will be sharing updates as our project comes to life!

Edgewood Elementary parents, it's time to buy your 1st Day School Supplies. I know it seems early, but before you know it, summer will be here. It's important you order your supplies before it's too late or supplies run out. Start the school year with the exact supplies your teacher requested, and give your child the confidence they need to conquer next year! Get them today before it's too late!
Yearbooks are on sale!
The Edgewood Elementary 2023-24 Yearbook is available for sale! All 5th Grade Students receive one copy for free from the PTO and do not need to order (unless they want additional copies). Any yearbooks ordered from this point forward will be shipped to your address (please note the price has now increased).

Pennsbury District Art Show - May 7-9; 6-8pm
Pennsbury School District will be hosting the annual District Art Show on May 7, 8, & 9 at PHS East Campus. The Art Show celebrates the innovative, expressive, and divergent thinking of students in Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade! Please join us as we recognize our student artists, their hard work and thought provoking art at the District Art Show. Evening hours are 6-8pm on May 7, 8, & 9. PHS East Gymnasium is located at 705 Hood Blvd, Fairless HIlls. Your Art teachers cannot wait to see you there!Â

Citizens Bank Park Field Trip is next week on Monday May 13th! Parents - look for a letter from the 5th Grade Coordinators with details for the day early this week.

May 31st is our LAST Finally Friday for our 5th Graders! Â
